4 injured in 3-vehicle crash on I-35 in central Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — At least four people are hurt after a three-vehicle crash in central Austin Monday night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
ATCEMS said it took place around 7200 N. I-35 northbound. That's near St. Johns Avenue.
At least one patient was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A second ambulance is responding to the scene, ATCEMS said.
The district commander and a designated medical officer are on site now.
ATCEMS is advising drivers to avoid the area.
