24-hour SWAT standoff in east Travis County ends

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A SWAT standoff in eastern Travis County that went on for more than 24 hours ended peacefully Saturday morning.
The sheriff’s office says a man in his 40’s was barricaded inside his home on Hibbs Lane — a few miles south of U.S. 290 between Manor and Elgin — since around 8:24 a.m. Friday. No evacuations were ordered and deputies believe he was alone inside the house. SWAT officers were in con
