220,001 people have cast their ballots in Travis County

AUSTIN (KXAN) — As the second week of Early Voting starts, exactly 220,001 people in Travis County have already cast their ballots.
The first day of Early Voting started strong and broke records with 47,017 people voting. While the number steadily decreased throughout the week, people were still making it to the polls on Saturday and Sunday (22,161 and 10,733 respectively). Thirty-percent of the 728,806 registered voters in Travis County have voted.
