2 Houston officers wounded, suspect killed in shooting

HOUSTON (KXAN) — Two police officers in Houston were shot Tuesday afternoon in the city’s southwest side, leaving one of the officers critically injured and another in stable condition. The suspect who police say shot the officers is dead.
The neighborhood around the shooting scene on Sterlingame Drive, near the intersection of Airport Boulevard and the Sam Houston Tollway, has been placed under a shelter in place order as police search for the second suspect.
