$1M worth of meth found inside fire extinguishers

FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A traffic stop in Fayette County led authorities to approximately $1 million worth of methamphetamine.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says the discovery was made on Friday afternoon along Interstate 10. Once the deputy spoke to the driver and his passenger, he asked if he could search the vehicle.
With the help of the K9 unit, authorities found two fire extinguishers in the vehicle that were stuffed with 23 pounds of meth.
