18-wheeler stuck under I-35 bridge closes Cesar Chavez St.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An 18-wheeler stuck under the Interstate 35 overpass has closed Cesar Chavez Street.
The truck was driving eastbound when it became stuck at around 2:49 p.m. Austin police say the 18-wheeler is still lodged underneath the overpass and all lanes of Cesar Chavez are closed around the crash site.

The Texas Department of Transportation will assess the structure of the bridge after the truck is removed.
