12-year-old bicyclist hit by car on Burnet Road

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A 12-year-old boy has been hit by a car in Central Austin while riding his bike at 7:34 a.m. Friday morning.
The boy was hit by a grey Volkswagen on Burnet Road and Koenig Lane. The driver stayed at the scene to see if the boy was okay.
According to Austin police, the boy is up and walking around. He has non-life threatening injuries and did not need to be transported to a hospital for treatment.
