Iris Martinez sworn in as first Latina Cook County circuit clerk

Former state Sen. Iris Y. Martinez was sworn in Tuesday as clerk of the circuit court of Cook County, becoming the first Latina to helm to office responsible for keeping the records of one of the nation's largest unified court systems.
