How a writer from Elk Grove ended up writing a book on Parkland shooting

Dave Cullen's best-selling book about the 1999 school shooting in Columbine, Colorado, made him an expert on mass shootings. The Elk Grove Village native's new book, "Parkland," released today, takes readers on a journey far beyond the 2018 Valentine's Day shooting at a Florida high school.
