381 Atlantans set to lose jobs as Mondelēz bakery prepares to close

Nearly 400 Atlantans are set to lose their jobs starting in June when Chicago-based baking giant Mondelēz International closes its Atlanta Bakery.Mondelēz's plan to close the bakery at 1400 Murphy Ave. in southwest Atlanta was announced Feb. 4. In a March 30 notice to the Georgia Department of Labor, the company says a total of 381 jobs will be cut.
