27-year-old man goes missing in Lake Allatoona, search underway

A search is underway for a man who reportedly disappeared in Lake Allatoona on Sunday.At 12:49 p.m. on July 5, game wardens and Bartow County Fire/Rescue responded to a possible drowning at Allatoona Lake near Glade Marina. According to officials, a 27-year-old man reportedly exited the back of a ski boat, went under the water, and did not resurface.Search efforts began immediately using boat-mounted SONAR technology to scan the area.Additional personnel and equipment have since been brought in,
