Witness a bird tornado at Swift Night Out

Tomorrow evening marks the annual Swift Night Out, a continent-wide gathering to behold swarms of chimney swifts, a species known for spiraling down chimneys in spooky, dramatic swarms that make it feel like Halloween is around the corner. The Audubon Society will host the event on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at its Little Rock location on Springer Boulevard, which boasts multiple towers built just for chimney-swift nesting and slumbering. Uta Meyer, a center manager, describes Swift Night Out as a c
