With construction projects behind schedule, lawmakers plan return to Juneau

Lawmakers say they’re close to a budget deal for construction projects statewide. The Legislature is planning to take it up in Juneau next Thursday.
Timing on the measure is key. Some projects in Anchorage are already behind schedule without it. The Alaska Department of Transportation (DOT) says maintenance on a stretch of road near Tudor Road and C Street is one of them.
