Widespread thunderstorm advisory for Southcentral Thursday

Be on the lookout for some thunderstorms in Southcentral Alaska Thursday afternoon and evening.
A Nixle alert was sent Thursday morning saying the day will start out with mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures, but by mid-to-late afternoon, showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop over the mountains.
