While Seavey speeds to Iditarod finish, lawmakers slog on with budget work

While Tuesday marked a speedy finish for Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race musher Mitch Seavey with a record-breaking victory, the day slogged on for lawmakers in Juneau. 
“I wish I could have been there to see Mitch Seavey’s record-shattering finish, but I know Nome made him and his dog team feel welcome,” Nome Rep. Neal Foster said Tuesday in a prepared statement.
