Wasilla students heading to Washington DC for National Science Bowl

For the fourth year running, students from Mat-Su Career and Technical High School won the regional U.S. Department of Energy National Science Bowl competition and will be heading to the nation’s capital for the finals.
Captain Lucas Arthur says his five-person team gets together to practice at least once a week. While what’s in their heads is important, they say the biggest skill they work on is pressing the buzzer with speed and accuracy.
