Walker’s 2018 fiscal plan met with criticism from lawmakers

Thursday, Gov. Bill Walker’s office unveiled a budget proposal for the 2018 fiscal year. The plan, with a $4.2 billion operating budget and a $115 million capital budget, has three major components; spending cuts, restructuring the Permanent Fund, and new revenue.
