Wade Marrs first into Unalakleet

Wade Marrs was the first musher to reach Unalakleet, earning the Wells Fargo Gold Coast award.
Marrs arrived at the checkpoint at 4:05 p.m. with 13 dogs, according to a release from the Iditarod Trail Committee. He was still in Unalakleet on a rest as of 5:45 p.m.
Close behind him was Nicholas Petit at 4:08 p.m. He also chose to stay in Unalakleet for the time being.
