Update: Murder suspect turns himself in to police

The Anchorage Police Department has arrested  a man accused of killing his girlfriend at the couple’s Lake Otis Road home last month.According to APD, on April 19 Victor Sibson shot and killed Brittanymae Haag. Then, almost a month later, on May 16, Sibson was indicted by a grand jury for causing her death. Sibson has been charged with first-and second-degree murder.
Sibson turned himself in at APD headquarters shortly before noon Friday.
