UPDATE: Flooded Russian Jack streets likely caused by drain clogged with ice or trash

What was thought to be a water main break in the Russian Jack Park area, was actually a clogged storm drain, according to the Anchorage Police Department.
According to police dispatch, the clog could have been caused by ice or trash. Street maintenance crews were out at the time of the flooding, APD said, and as of 4 a.m. Thursday the intersection is open.
