Two plead guilty to violations during Haines moose hunt
Two Alaska residents recently pleaded guilty to hunting violations during this year’s Haines moose hunt.
Truman Philbrick of Wasilla pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of taking a bull moose without the required permit. Two other charges against him were dismissed as part of a plea deal. Philbrick was fined $3,000 with half of the amount suspended and he was ordered to pay an additional $1,000 in restitution.
