Twenty-three Bethel residents, mostly cab drivers, charged with bootlegging

Twenty-three Bethel residents, most of them cab drivers, were charged Friday for allegedly selling alcohol without a license after a two-year-long undercover investigation.
The State of Alaska is charging 18 cab drivers, who come from every Bethel cab company: Quyana Cab, Kusko Cab, Taxi Cab, and Alaska Taxi.
Quyana Cab Company and its co-owner Min Sook Cha also are charged.
Other individuals being charged allegedly helped cab drivers bootleg.
