Troopers kill Big Lake man allegedly threatening to kill small child

Alaska State Troopers shot a Big Lake man early Friday after he threatened to kill his girlfriend and their son, according to an agency dispatch.
Around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, the man called police dispatch and threatened to kill everyone at his home. Troopers and the agency’s Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) responded.
