Troopers: Fairbanks man overdue from snowmachine trip found dead

Search teams found a Fairbanks man’s body Tuesday after he didn’t return home from a snowmachine trip.
Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters said in an online dispatch that 27-year-old Travis Loughridge was reported missing on Monday morning; the same day he was expected to return from his trip. Loughridge left Shungnak on Friday around noon and was headed for Fairbanks, according to Peters.
Teams from Shungnak and Huslia searched for Loughridge along his planned route,
