Time is running out for homes threatened by Matanuska River erosion

People who live near the Matanuska River in Sutton point to the home that can be seen from the highway floating downstream as an example of government inaction when it comes to an erosion problem they’ve been dealing with for years.
“This is crazy. This isn’t supposed to happen. You don’t even know if you should fix your house up or not because you don’t know if it’s gonna be there in a month,” said Mike Pearson.
