Thousands of customers in the Valley without power Monday

It was a dark and stormy morning in the Matanuska and Susitna Valleys on Monday, as thousands of customers were without power and high winds continued.
The Matanuska Electric Association’s online outage map showed that 6,305 customers were without power just before 8:30 a.m. Monday.
