SWAT training planned for West Anchorage Monday

The Anchorage Police Department will be conducting SWAT training in West Anchorage Monday.
A Nixle alert was sent out early Monday morning alerting the public of SWAT training being conducted in an old building near the intersection of Spenard Road and McKinley Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Police vehicles and loud booms can be expected sporadically throughout the day.
