Sunshine, warming temperatures on the way after soggy weekend in Southcentral

It’s been a rainy couple of days in Southcentral Alaska. Anchorage recorded 0.53″ of rain on Sunday, which tied a daily rainfall record set in 2011. More rain fell after midnight Monday morning, with most areas in Southcentral also recording measurable rainfall.Weather conditions will improve just in time for the July Fourth holiday. Rain will come to an end on Monday across the region, with clearing skies Monday night and Tuesday from east to west. This will leave warm and sunny con
