Southcentral Alaska residents awake to subzero temps Monday

Residents in Southcentral woke up to the coldest temperatures of the year for many parts of the region Monday morning.
For the first time in more than a year, the temperature at Ted Stevens Airport dropped below zero. Temperatures reached an official low of 8 below zero around 8 a.m. Monday.
