Seward Hwy reopened; armed suspect taken into custody

Alaska State Troopers have reopened the Seward Highway to traffic between Girdwood and Portage after responding to a “developing investigation.”
A man with a gun was apparently firing shots in the area, according to AST spokesperson Megan Peters.
