Scruggs, missing Iditarod dog, found

Scruggs the missing Iditarod dog has been found.
Barbara Swenson adopted the retired sled dog from Aliy Zikle at the end of June. She had Scruggs in Anchorage just one day before the dog got spooked by a lawnmower and took off in the Campbell Airstrip area on June 25.
Swenson posted flyers on nearby tras and checked Animal Care and Control every day. Zirkle even came down twice to help look for Scruggs.
