Scott Janssen takes notes during hitchhike trip to Nome

In a normal year, fan favorite Scott Janssen would be on the back of a sled with a team of dogs pulling him through Alaska’s frozen landscape. But this year the man better known as the “Mushing Mortician” is heading across the Iditarod trail with the help of friends and those he meets along the way.
Citing health concerns, Janssen pulled out this year’s race and handed over his team to Dave Branh
