Rod Udd remembered for charitable sense of community

Rod Udd was a community man through and through, according to some who knew him. The Alaska Aces’ minority owner died Tuesday. He’d recently suffered a fall, which exasperated other medical issues.
Udd is being remembered for his generosity. At the Aces-Steelheads game at Sullivan Arena on Wednesday, Terry Parks, an Aces owner and managing member, recalled fond memories of his friend and business partner when it looked like the Aces’ days were numbered.
