Rockfall blocks part of Glenn Highway ramp

A rockfall Friday evening has blocked part of the Glenn Highway between Eklutna and Matanuska.
According to the Department of Transportation, the rockfall occurred near milepost 33 at the Knik River Access off ramp (as indicated by the red exclamation mark on the map).
DOT officials say the obstruction on the roadway has led to a rough surface and motorists should be prepared for delays, lane restrictions and possible road closures.
