Prison high school helps inmates graduate

The Anchorage School District offers lots of different programs, but there’s one public school most people have never heard of. That’s because it operates in a prison.
New Path High School is located inside the Anchorage Correctional Complex. Principal Nichelle Mauk says the program is available to male inmates, ages 16 to 22, who are interested in getting a high school diploma.
