Principal apologizes for school phone message on marijuana

ANCHORAGE — The principal of an Anchorage elementary school has apologized after the school sent a message urging action against proposed marijuana businesses.
The information sent through the school’s automated phone message system urged parents to attend an Anchorage Assembly meeting Tuesday.
The message called for parents to testify against cannabis businesses applying to open near Campbell Elementary School.
