Poor road conditions cause closures on Minnesota Drive

The Anchorage Police Department is shutting down parts of Minnesota Drive because of bad road conditions.
In a brief alert, the agency wrote: “APD shutting down Minnesota (southbound) from International and (northbound) from 100th due to icy road conditions and multiple collisions.” Minutes later APD sent a second alert about another road closure on Minnesota Drive, at Tudor Road.
Police department spokesperson Renee Oistad declined to answer any further questions about traffic
