Police: Man wanted for Mountain View shooting

The Anchorage Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating 23-year-old Myles Boomer Gilmer for a shooting that injured another man.APD said at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday, police dispatch received several calls that a man was bleeding and yelling for help. When officers arrived at the 3800 block of Peterkin Avenue, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The man was taken to the hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening injury.
