Officials identify body found in Tongass Narrows

A body found floating in the Tongass Narrows over the weekend has been positively identified by the State Medical Examiner’s Office as Harris Hunter Wood II, 63, of Ketchikan.
Tongass Narrows is the ocean passage between Ketchikan and Gravina Island in Southeast Alaska.
According to Tuesday’s online Alaska State Troopers dispatch report, the autopsy results determined the cause of death to be drowning.  Next of kin has been notified.
