Officer shot multiple times in Tacoma

Authorities say a Tacoma police officer was shot multiple times while responding to a domestic violence call.
Multiple news outlets said the suspect was barricaded in a home with a rifle Wednesday evening after the shooting took place around 5:30 p.m. Authorities say police entered the home after the incident, got the officer out and to a Tacoma hospital.
