NTSB: Cause of plane crash intentional

 
The NTSB says the cause of a plane crash that killed an Aniak couple in their 60s was intentional.
Law enforcement officials identified the bodies of Mark Matter, 62, and his wife Cecilia Matter, 63, of Aniak, in December. Troopers say the two were in a Piper PA-11 when it crashed at Marvel Dome.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) report shows there were no mechanical issues with the plane. It was headed for an off-airport ski strip near Marvel Creek.
