Midtown road closure alert

Anchorage police are advising the public of some upcoming road closures in Midtown Anchorage.
APD says Spenard Road will be closed between Northern Lights Boulevard and Benson Boulevard starting Saturday, July 15, and is expected to last for approximately 30 days. However, intersections on these roads will remain open to traffic.
Police say businesses in these areas will remain open, so drivers are asked to use caution and follow the detour routes for access.
