Man wanted in fatal Juneau assault

Juneau Police are searching for a man they say kicked another man in the head, sending him to the hospital where he later died.
Friday afternoon just before 1, officers were called to the Downtown Transit Center after receiving a 911 call reporting an assault.
When officers arrived, the victim, 56-year-old Aaron G. Monette, of Juneau, was lying on the ground unconscious; the suspect, who police have since identified as 51-year-old David V. Evenson, had already fled the scene.
