Local search and rescue group spreading the word about program to keep vulnerable adults, children safe

Local search and rescue volunteer coordinator Howdi Rambur says there’s a tracking system meant to find people with conditions like dementia and autism when they wander off, and he wants more people to know it’s available.
“They don’t know what they’re doing and they need people to help,” he said on Sunday.
The program is called Project Lifesaver, and it’s run by volunteers who work closely with police departments and Alaska State Troopers. It’s as
