The Alaska Legislature has rejected a claim from its downtown Anchorage landlord — 716 West 4th Ave. LLC — for $37 million, after a judge declared the state’s lease there invalid in March. Lawmakers vacated the building this month, after purchasing the Spenard Wells Fargo Building.
