Large fire damages abandoned trailer on A Street

ANCHORAGE — An abandoned trailer in midtown Anchorage was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene Tuesday night.
The fire, which was visible for several blocks, was reported at 9:09 p.m., according to a statement from the Anchorage Fire Department. A dozen units responded to the fire on the 2600 block of A Street, behind O’Reilly’s Auto Parts on Northern Lights Boulevard.
“First AFD units arrived on location within four minutes and reported finding a de
