Kuskokwim King Crisis: Headed for Another Record Low

 
It’s been an emotional roller coaster for communities along the Kuskokwim River. In 2013, they saw a record low run, with severe restrictions on subsistence fishing.
The kings, or Chinooks as they’re also called, returned in stronger numbers last year – but this season, they are likely to be headed for another record low.
