Kasilof man dies in single-vehicle weekend crash

KASILOF — A 26-year-old man died in a weekend crash near Kasilof on the Kenai Peninsula.
Troopers at 11:40 p.m. Saturday took a call of a crashed vehicle at Mile 1 Kalifornsky Beach Road.
Troopers arrived at the scene 13 minutes later to find the vehicle unoccupied, but Bill Duncan located unconscious and not breathing 50 feet away.
He could not be revived. Central Emergency Services medics pronounced Duncan dead shortly after midnight Sunday.
