JPD ‘disables’ suspected explosive; turns out to be geocache

Whoops! Adventurers in Juneau have one less surprise to find after police “disabled” a geocache found in a wooded area.
Juneau Police were called to a reported pipe bomb off a trail near Glacier Spur Road Wednesday afternoon.
The device was described as a seven-inch “cylindrical tube wrapped in camouflage tape.”
The bomb squad disabled the object with a watercannon. The object turned out to be not explosive– and was, instead, a geocache.
