‘Items can be replaced; life can’t.’ Plane crash cleanup underway

People who live in the Turnagain neighborhood, which became the crash site of a Cessna 180 plane on floats Sunday, say they’re still in disbelief over how the incident played out.
“Other than anywhere else in Alaska, I don’t think anyone else in the world understands what it means to have an airplane just kind of land in your neighborhood,” said neighbor Nick Williamson. He added, “‘Land’ is relative, but yeah.”
